About The Farm

Where Faith Meets Farming

In January 2016, Mark was walking the land and praying over a big decision — whether to bid in the auction for this very property. As he prayed, an eagle soared overhead, circling above him. It felt like a divine sign of confirmation.

Later that day, he was led to this verse:

“Wait on the Lord and keep His way, and He shall exalt thee to inherit the land.”
— Psalm 37:34

That was the moment Eagles View Sheep Farm was born. A faith-led journey rooted in stewardship, provision, and the call to care for sheep, land, and community.

Why Katahdin Sheep?

Katahdin sheep are one of the most practical and efficient breeds in the U.S., especially for small farms and regenerative operations.

No Shearing Required: Katahdins are hair sheep, so they naturally shed

Parasite-Resistant: Ideal for rotational grazing and low-input management

Superior Meat Quality: Lean, mild-flavored meat

Calm Temperament: Easy to handle and manage

Hardy & Adaptable: Thrive in hot, humid Kentucky weather
